Quite a few LDT companies are in the Anger and Denial phases, while some have progressed to Bargaining.
The companies that are poised for success though are already in the Acceptance phase and moving forward with developing their QMS.
It is likely that the final rule will be (or rather already has been and will continue to be) challenged in court and the finer points may change, but why wait until the dust settles to start implementing a QMS?
You don’t have to go from 0 to 100, but you can start now and take a measured approach to consciously meter out resources to stay ahead of the curve.
